Hike #12 - Alpine mountains just 45 mins out of Las Vegas

Enjoy the cooler temperature as you work up an appetite on the Cathedral Rock trail and enjoy sweeping views from the top, looking 1,000 ft down to Mt. Charleston Lodge.

Upon descending, we will relax with a hearty picnic in the grassy meadows at the bottom of the trail.

(you can also choose not to hike and just enjoy the alpine ambiance. It’s very peaceful and rejuvenating.)

NOTES:

• Ladies, this is an easy-moderate hike but you are at 8,000 ft, so you will feel the altitude!

• Experienced hiking dogs must stay on leash.

• We will carpool in Las Vegas and convoy up to Mt. Charleston.

• Trail: Cathedral Rock Trail 2.8 mile out and back

• Carry a small backpack with lots of water, snacks, sunscreen, hat.
