Alpine & Dine
Hike #12 takes us up into the alpine mountains just 45 minutes off Las Vegas Boulevard.
Enjoy the cooler temperature as you work up an appetite on the Cathedral Rock trail and enjoy sweeping views from the top. We will relax with a hearty picnic in the grassy meadows at the bottom of the trail.

Easter Egg Scramble
Happy Spring! Happy Easter!
You are invited to make memories with Austin (11-year-old son) and me as we hike the Ice Box Trail at Red Rock Canyon, Las Vegas. This is a very popular 2.3-mile trail and has fun scrambling and, if we are lucky, a waterfall at the end! We will picnic on chocolate and I’m sure the Trail Angels will have some Easter surprises for the kids!

Get Higher!
HIKE #6, Back by popular demand, is Turlehead Peak! Join us as we climb high above the city for a birdseye view of Las Vegas and the surrounding mountains. Turtle Head Peak is an iconic trail that I like to do every year before it gets hot. This 4.6-mile hike is a fitness workout over gravel terrain and a 2,000 feet elevation gain!
The peak is 6,300 feet and is a party on top-of-the-world feeling, and the Instagramable moments make it all worthwhile. We will relax for a good 30 - 40 minutes, enjoy our picnic brunch, meditate or listen to your inspirational music, and absorb all the good vibes before heading down.

Artist & Muse
Hike #6 Petroglyph Canyon Trail & Seven Magic Mountains
A morning of exploration takes us to two contrasting pieces of art - ancient Petroglyphs and a modern sculpture installation. Are you the artist or the muse? Or maybe both on the end of the selfie stick!?

Moonbeam Party
You are invited to our first Moonbeam party! We are excited to partner up for a Full Moon Ceremony hosted by The Elevated Entrepreneur Collective featuring a meditation by @life_coach_megan.
After the ceremony, we will take an easy hike through the desert as she sprinkles her moonbeams all around. Hot drinks, snacks, and notepaper are provided, so you can focus on catching a falling star and put it in your pocket!

Get High!
For our hike in March, we are going to celebrate Women History Month by getting high above the city for a birdseye view of Las Vegas and the surrounding mountains. Turtle Head Peak is an iconic trail that I like to do every year before it gets hot. This 4.6-mile hike is a fitness workout over gravel terrain and a 2,000 feet elevation gain.
The peak is 6,300 feet and for some reason, it reminds me of the last page from the children’s book, Go, Dog. Go! by P.D. Eastman. There is such a party atmosphere on the large open rock face.

Galentine’s Day
What is Galentine’s Day? Only the best day of the year!! Thanks, Leslie Knope, what a great idea! Today is all about the girls in your life who are your rock.
Join us for a breathtakingly beautiful, and challenging scramble up Ash Canyon and decent via Kraft Mountain. This is one of my favorite workouts and a perfect way to spend Galentine’s Day!!

Escape Day!
January 30 is National Escape Day! This trail is a perfect winter hike as we walk across the open desert on sandy soil and admire the beautiful array of cactus and pines.

I Have a Dream Hike
Celebrate MLK Day with a hike on the White Rock Hills loop trail, Red Rock Canyon starting at Upper White Rock and finishing at Willow Spring.
I’ve climbed to the summit of White Rock Hills but have yet to traverse around it! This beautiful trail has a variety of terrain - rocks, mud, ice - over a fun 4 miles. Traveling counter-clockwise around the back of the mountain, we will pass through a pine forest that I’m excited to see.
Please email at hello@wildlifelv.com to receive the carpool and meeting point details.
NOTE: Ladies only for this hike, confident dogs allowed.
Carry a backpack with water, snacks, layered clothing, hiking poles if you have them.
