Hike #8

Happy Spring! Happy Easter! I love this long weekend for its beautiful weather, fond childhood memories, and indulging in chocolate treats!

You are invited to make memories with Austin (11-year-old son) and me as we hike the Ice Box Trail at Red Rock Canyon, Las Vegas. This is a very popular 2.3-mile trail and has fun scrambling and, if we are lucky, a waterfall at the end! We will picnic on chocolate and I’m sure the Trail Angels will have some Easter surprises for the kids!

Notes:

• Red Rock Canyon has put a reservation system in place for the Scenic Drive so we will arrange a carpool before entering at 8:30 am.

• Children are welcome but should be fit and have some outdoor experience. Dogs must stay on leash.

• Join us at your own risk.
